As Estonia was the first country in Europe, that has legalized self-driving cars, two self-driving buses are here in the frames of the European Union presidency and starting to transfer passengers around in Tallinn city centre in couple of weeks. Today they made their first test rides. Meanwhile the check-ups in Estonian Road Administration have to be passed and the routes mastered. The capacity of the buses is 8 passengers.
Two self-driving buses will drive the route Viru Circle – Tallinn Creative Hub till the end of August.
